SBHS v Scots
August 23, 2009Sydney played a lot better this week. They used the width of the pitch well and were rewarded with two goals. The Scots defence was a bit scrappy and struggled to deal with attacks coming in from the wings. To their credit, though, Scots looked to have the edge in aerial play but failed to exploit this advantage. Final Score 2-0 to Sydney Boys.

Right from the start Sydney were pushing forward deep into the Scots defensive half

A lot of Sydney’s attacks started out wide

Scots’ goal keeper was unluck not to clear the ball and ended up conceeding a goal

SJC looked to be dominant in the first few minutes of the game but Sydney Boys eventually settled in

Unfortunately it was SJC who recorded a goal first
The scoreline really doesn’t say much about Sydney Boy’s defence though. They were able to react pretty well to most situations

I’m not sure who’s more scared. The defender (blue and brown) or the goal keeper
